I would rate my psychological and spiritual well-being a 9 and my physical well-being a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. The only score that changed was my physical well-being because I am exercising more and loosing weight.
I have made progress toward the goals I set for myself. I am currently exercising more and loosing weight. I am continuing to make sure my mind is healthy and I am reading more inspirational books.
I have implemented the activities I chose for my well-being physically, spiritually, and psychologically. I am eating healthier, I practice meditation and visualization, as well as, reading more spiritual and encouraging books.
I have developed improvements in my well-being. This course has been rewarding because of the many techniques of meditation we learned about and incorporate them in our daily lives. Also, I am feeling good about myself. The difficulty I experienced in this course is learning to forgive people through loving-kindness practice. This experience will allow me to assist other because now I have an understanding of integral health and I can introduce it to others.

Unit 9 Project: Personal Application of the Psychological and Spiritual Aspects of Healing
I. Introduction:
It is very important for health and wellness professional to develop psychologically,
spiritually, and physically because it would be impossible to help clients that is in need. Also, our inner and outer being must be whole to be successful at what we do for a living. The areas that I need to develop to achieve the goals that I have for myself are physically and psychologically. I have to learn to eat better and exercise so my outer being can be whole and healthy. Also, I have to learn to forgive people. Forgiving people who have done something bad to me is very hard for me to do. That has to do with practicing loving-kindness. Loving-kindness opens the heart and ensures the help and cooperation of others (Dacher, 2006, p. 50).
II. Assessment:
I have accessed my health in each domain by finding out which area I need improvement in
scored my wellness physically as a six because I need to lose some weight and exercise more. I give my wellness spiritually a nine because I am always seeking help from higher power and reading the bible and inspirational books. I give my wellness psychologically an eight. Sometimes I still remember how I have been treated wrong by others and I find it hard to forgive them. I know I have to because that is the right thing to do and it will help my inner being be at peace.
III. Goal Development:
My physical goal is to get in shape and lose weight. My psychological goal is to not let what
anyone did to me in the pass to affect me mentally and learn to forgive people easily no matter what. My spiritual goal is to draw closer to God and continue to read inspirational materials and be an inspirational to someone.
IV. Practices For Personal Health:
Strategies that I could use to foster growth in physical, psychological, and spiritual domains
are staying focus of what I am trying to accomplish. I also can be encouraged no matter what chaos is going on around me. I will practice yoga to help me lose weight and I will eat more fruits and vegetables. This will take care of my physical domain. For my psychological domain I would practice meditation and loving-kindness. This will help be clear my inner thoughts and make my inner being happier, peaceful, and calm. Lastly for my spiritual domain I would practice tai chi, meditation, and yoga. This will allow me to have spiritual peace.
V. Commitment:
I will access my progress or my lack of progress in the next six months by keeping a daily
journal. I will also have a weekly schedule and check each day when I make progress and place an x on the day that I have a lack in progress. This will help me decide what I need to focus on a little bit more. Strategies that I can use to maintain my long-term practices for health and wellness is holding myself accountable. I realize that I have to want to change for a healthier, whole, happy, and peaceful life and health. I also will surround myself around positive people.

Optimal Well-being
The two practices that has been most benefical to me are loving-kindness and suble mind. I have found both of these practices to be very relaxing and calming. They both made me feel at peace. I like the technique of concentrating on your breathing during the subtle mind practice. I can implement these practices into my personal life to foster mental health by thinking positive thoughts and treating people with respect.

Meeting Aesclepius
Mindfulness and meditation has fostered an increase in my psychological wellness because I am more peaceful. I can relax and focus on the positive outlook of life. I continue to apply these practices in my life to foster greater health and wellness by exercising, meditating, pampering my body and eating healthy.
"One cannot lead another where one has not gone himself" is simply saying that you cannot help others if you have not experience the same issue. This applies to health and wellness professionals because they have to help people deal with health issues whether it is physical or psychological. Yes, I do have an obligation to my clients to be developing my health psychologically, physically, and spiritually because I have to help them develop their health psychologically and spiritually. I have to practice what I preach. I can implement psychological and spiritual growth in my life by treating people right, focus on positive things in my life, and getting deeper in my faith.
